This sounds very productive and logical. Count me in, and whatever I can do help. There's always minor things that can be hammered out, but Obama is out to ruin us all.

Many people are asking how they can make a difference. Count me in. There are many people out there that would get behind something specific they could believe in.

Count me in! Sounds like my kind of group....I think PC should be STOMPED! Apathy my BUTT, this is my Country we're talking about....You can SPARE a tear! When do we start, yesterday? I've been playing Media Interviews in MY head......I see them on TV and I scream at the lack of follow up on our side(ahhhhh)
We ALL know, Libs cater to 3 major groups, Lazy, Illegal and Gay! Most of us are none of these!

This makes perfect sense. I'm totally onboard. The problem is convincing all the well-intentioned Patriots who have started their groups and blogs to unite under one banner. I intend to post a link to this blog from the groups I belong to. The more people who read it the better for all of us.
The reason Barack Obama is in the White House is because he knew how to use the power of the internet to organize. We need to emulate that feat. We have the numbers. We just have to focus like a laser beam on the ultimate goal of taking our country back.

The reason that Obama is in the White House is because the Republican party is not conservative. They are corporatist, big government solves all problems war mongers. The size of government has been growing more rapidly under republican administrations than democratic.
It seems that Obama is giving the republicans a run for their money in the march to fascism, but it isn't the republicans haven't tried.
Until Republicans can show that they aren't a different face of the same monster, they will be irrelevant. This type of movement will help, but until the repblican party leadership is removed, there will be no change.

I find this so frustrating because the media outlets are in bed with Obama and his gang and the Repblicans are like doormats, willing to be stepped on To top it off, this "transparent" president won't even reveal his long-form birth certificate and is, in fact, preventing us from seeing it with with team of lawyers. Geez--give me a break! "Transparent"?
We would have to thow virtually everyone out and start all over--an impossible task. Just sign me as "Extremely Discouraged."

Just a quick caveat, because I know you put a lot of energy and enthusiasm into what you do. A few precautions might be well worth taking considering the challenges one encounters when quickly assembling a group (including just about anybody who shows up) , the more room the group has to make an early mis-step that makes a negative impression and encourages readers to hit the "next" button.
For example :
1.) to help encourage folks' interest to grow, writing short pithy pieces works best. But many of those who get involved with topics like this are apt to drone on and on - in for the most part unplanned posts - and with nobody to whom to be responsible. with either for quality nor content.
2.) the very energetic use of twitter or other forms of social media before knowing how to do so has the potential to set you back. In fact i keep getting messages from others who wonder if your tweets are coming from a group of kooks, an old crazy guy or a young guy with ADD/ADHD. I hope I'm right when I assure them that it's simply a result of overenthusiasm and lack of caution.
3.) Using words that can be considered bashing of anyone who isn't entirely on-board is dangerous. While my daughters would agree with most of your content, when they got to "We ALL know, Libs cater to 3 major groups, Lazy, Illegal and Gay!" they'd walk away & you'd have lost 3 smart, savvy women with excellent DC & social media contacts

I can understand point 1 entirely. I guess my only problem with trying to stay too short and pithy is that I then receive a bunch of emails asking me how I come by that, or what do I mean or whatever from people who truly don't get the government.
I'm sure there is a middle ground and I will try to hit that as I realize you have a good point there.
Most of point 1 and 2 comes from excitement and passion.
I guess my question would be - how would you do the work and ask people to come to the sites when the egos of many established groups and sites won't even answer a "little guy" even if he has a good idea? I have even received posts on Twitter poo pooing the whole idea because of one reason or another that doesn't really take into account the information in the article. I am at a loss if I can't use social networking, which, I thought, was the idea of establishing contacts.
How is it then that there are so many people out there doing what we are doing to establish our name, yet never get this message? Just curious - we have people with SEO marketing, hawking wares, etc. I don't sell or ask for money, so I ask - what choice do I have? Sell something and advertise in banners and click thrus? Not being snarky, just confused and frustrated.
We've been here since 9 weeks ago, achieved 14,000+ hits and 2400+ followers on Twitter - and I am trying to ramp something good for the nation up in 6 months to try and help with the 2010 elections, if even in a small way.
Not sure how else to do it, and would be glad for advice.
Point 3 - I would have to disagree with you on one key point - they aren't my words. Nor anyone from this blogs words. They are the comment of someone else and quite frankly, have at them for what you and I feel to both be a bit uninformed. I have very personal reasons for not worrying about the gay part, illegal is just plain silly, and frankly the lazy part could have been worded better.
I would hope that you wouldn't hold some anonymous user against me, however. If you or anyone else wants to rip 'em, that is the freedom of speech - go to it.
I don't want to lose you, your 3 daughters or anyone else who shares our point of view.
I do have one further question - if I and the folks who join this group do nothing more than people who sit around and do nothing more than chat on someone else's terms (how many tweets, etc) then how are we being any more effective than someone else already doing it and losing the battle so badly?
We have seen the outcome, and now we have a party and movement who is dispirited, broken apart and listenting to liberal media for advice for goshsakes. Help me understand why someone who has energy, which is what our party declares it is looking for, is looked at as a kook or someone without caution?
Perhaps the leadership should look at the folks they have been running, the folks who have been making the priorities of the party today, listen to the rumble of the 40% conservatives who are mad at how far to the left the party has drifted.
I don't know - but what we are doing in the last 9 years is not working. What would you suggest? Maybe suggest to the people who question you about our tweets that they actually come look to the site and see our content?
I know we have many things we are talking about, but when the administration is running 4 major bills through the House to confuse the issue, shouldn't we update people on the latest fight information? And information on fraud, corruption, deceit and destruction of our core belief- the Constitution?
Healthcare Illegal Immigration EFCA Cap and Trade Stimulus spending Graft, Fraud and corruption IG firings in illegal manner Abandoning our allies Socialism
I'm not sure what doesn't apply to conservative politics, and I am sure I left a lot out.
::shrug:: Help me out - you showed me the problems - can you help me with the answers?

I would agree that the Republican party bought into the whole move to the center approach that most conservatives cringed to hear.
I think Reagan's success by being conservative should show the people what happens when you are conservative.
Bush 1 won on the Reagan platfom and abandonded it halfway through his presidency.
He lost because he abandonded that.
Dole, Bush 2 and McCain either lost or had a hard hard fight because they went to the center instead of the base.
I know that many people don't understand the definition of fascism as you used it, but believe me- I do and I know it isn't relating him to Hitler, but to the National Socialism that Mussolini and frankly even Wilson here in the US embraced.
I would say, though, that I see him being more of an internationalist than a statist simply because he and his friends in ACORN are attempting to promote the world government aspect of things instead of keeping it here in our country alone.
I agree we have to show a different face - and that is what we are talking about here. Trying something totally different indeed.

The only problem is the parts at the bottom of your reply.
I am sorry I hadn't gotten to that earlier.
Frankly, I am tired of divisive politics. People on the right insult people on the left. People on the left insult the right.
I would have to insult the insulters, but that doesn't solve anything either.
There are good people out there who are gay, and illegals would probably be here legally if they could. Lazy, well, I can't agree with that on any level, but we should, instead of pushing them aside, try to motivate them on a different level. There are good solutions we can embrace to solve the problems of gay lovers not having the rights of any other couple, as well as the illegal immigration problem - as I have come up with a VERY rough plan to fix it with respect and dignity all the way around. Right now, on both issues, we have disrespect and bile all around, solving nothing and harming all.
Encouragement, retraining and restriction to how long they can stay on the public dole instead of harrassing, name calling and looking down our nose at them is a more productive solution.
Some don't know any different being raised that way and some can't really help themselves.
The percentage of lazy folks who are just taking advantage is probably quite minute in the same sense of most extreme examples.
I have been guilty of the same in the past, but then I stopped and looked at people around me and realized I wasn't being all that Christian in my approach.
Most of what we worry about in Christianity is personal choice. I am going to write an article on this, but I'll summarize for you.
God gave everyone choices to make. If we make the wrong choices and God forgives, who are we to say that forgiveness isn't right? Who are we to say that the unconditional love that God states we should have doesn't extend to everyone including people we don't agree with?
I believe truly that everyone should be loved, even if some should be counselled and worked with. That is our choice - do we help them up, dust them off, and motivate them to move forward instead of sitting back down.
But in the end, they all meet the Maker and answer to Him, not us. And that is how it should be :)

Personally I see the idea of replacing enough people and keeping enough pressure on the rest to hang the sword of Damocles above the remaining reps heads in order to keep them honest.
I truly believe it will work - I have been asked about this before and I have answered that a rep who feels like his poll will drop 20 points if he lies might realize that all that work for 2 years is a bad investment and that listening to the voters and honoring his/her committments might be wise.
